| | Biography:
Brenda Nyhof has exhibited around Dunedin since 1993. She works intuitively, allowing images and ideas to suggest themselves as glazes and layers of colour are built up. She loves to experiment with colour and paint, creating rich orange skies, flurries of ruby red or turquoise blue. The artworks are influenced by things remembered or seen, such as a certain combination of shape and colour, or a half remembered fairytale, giving the works a dreamlike quality.
